Pah-Pah-Pokerface! (Fallout: New Vegas)

25th Oct 2010, 9:40 AM

I've only just started playing New Vegas, but it's incredibly apparent that the game is pretty much the exact same experience as Fallout 3... which is by no means a bad thing.

One thing that isn't very surprising is that EVERYONE in New Vegas loves to gamble. "Want to play Caravan?", they'll ask, as if I have a clue what the hell they're on about. Turns out Caravan is a card game, a bit like if Solitaire and Blackjack had some sort of bizarre baby. He looks at me with infinite patience (in that disturbing Fallout way) as I accept, play him at Caravan, and pretend I know what I'm doing.

"You lost the game of Caravan." Fancy that.

Doesn't matter though, I'll be able to practice quite a bit as I progress through the game... I mean, who KNOWS what kind of weird and wonderful characters will be up for some Poker or Roulette?

Haha, awesome. XD

I'm loving New Vegas so far. It's everything Fallout 3 was and more~.

No, those things have a tell. When they have a good hand the glass of their goggles steams up.

Would you like to try a game of Lucky Hit? How about a game of Lucky Hit?
