The Blind, Blind West (Red Dead Redemption)

With Red Dead Redemption, much like in the very similar Grand Theft Auto 4, I found myself spending about every ten hours messing about and procrastinating to one hour of playing the actual storyline.

One of the things I hate in games is grind-harvesting, where you have to kill X amount of things for X amount of arbitrary items. But for some reason, doing this in Red Dead was great fun for the fact you can skin things and keep the hides. So, I spend an inordinate amount of time skinning things.

Now, when I play any other game, I wonder why I don't have the option to skin things afterwards. Man, I would love the hide of a Fudgehog from Viva Pinata...
