Should Be Called "How To Open Ready Meals In 30 Minutes"

29th Jan 2012, 8:48 PM

This was so rushed and last-minute I wasn't going to bother uploading it. But my message was far too important.

Jamie Oliver's a bloody fraud is what he is.

"I'll show you how to make a full 3-course meal in 30 minutes!" he exclaims. "First I'm going to make a gorgeous, light and fragrant prawn salad".

Sounds good to me.

"So open up your bag of ready-mixed salad..."

Alarm bells ring.

"...and your packet of chilled prawns..."

Eyebrow is raising.

"...and toss them together in some lovely olive oil. And you don't need to do this but I'm going to; I'm going to add some chopped chilli in there..."

Don't put yourself out, Jamie! Christ almighty. Chopped Chilli? But it didn't even come pre-packed, pre-chopped! You'll do your back in!

The whole program, he just showed how to open packets and put them on a plate - what a pointless endeavour.

A bit like when Heinz shows soup in a bowl on the side of the can, and has the text, "Serving Suggestion". Aye, cheers for that.
